‘Macushla’ is Gaelic for ‘My Darling’

There are two cabins at Macushla Farm B&B for you to choose from: ‘Tara’ and ‘Dale’- each cabin unique and elegant in its own way. They nestle amongst the trees, on our ten acre farm; private, tranquil, natural. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Each cabin has reverse cycle air conditioning (warm in winter, cool in summer), tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, tv/dvd player and cd/ iPod player, am/fm radio. A small dvd library is available for your use (or bring your own!). A hamper with Continental Breakfast provisions is placed in your cabin.

There is so much to see and do in the local area and Macushla Farm is centrally located for further exploration of the Goldfields of Victoria.

Kyneton, Castlemaine, Malmsbury, Chewton are all within 15 mins drive and Bendigo, Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Woodend and Hanging Rock are about 30 mins drive away. Within the area there are many vineyards with cellar doors for you to explore, even one within walking distance.

Macushla Farm also has a seductively decorated, fully licensed private bar. (Opening hours advised at time of checking in.)

The bar is well stocked with local wines, spirits, beers, liquers and soft drinks. Come and join us for a Complimentary drink at the Bar. You can also buy a bottle of wine to take back to your cabin.

We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs that are kept on a leash at all times whilst outside of the cabins are welcomed. Please notify us when you make your booking if you wish to bring your dog.

Macushla Farm is a shelter for wildlife, and this is their sanctuary. Many animals here are sick, injured or orphaned, and are awaiting rehabilitation back to the wild so their needs do come first.
